A little something about me…

Life as a film journalist is great. A diary full of appointments with India's top celebrities isn't too shabby, you'd agree. But while having stimulating conversations with them over cups of coffee, documenting their struggle, the conviction with which they follow their passion, and eventual stardom, I started re-evaluating my own journey. Was I happy enough to express myself through my writing? The inner voice screamed a firm and resounding, 'No!' And so, I dropped the pen (more like a keyboard, though) and dusted the cobwebs off my camera. There's been no looking back.

Leaving the confines of a well-paying, cushy office job for a freelancer's uncertain fate was at once difficult and liberating. Convincing my parents that I hadn't gone entirely bonkers was a different ball game altogether. But, as I clicked pictures at a friend's production company and thereafter, at weddings, I knew I had found my calling.

The transition to Architecture Photography was eventual and like all things meant to be, quite by accident. Living in a country of contrasts helped too. From the magnificent palaces to gravity-defying skyscrapers -- my muses called out to from all around. I was lost finding my voice in elusive angles and making music with rare compositions. And it made the right noise. Some of the most reputed real-estate companies hired me to work for them and I was on top of the world, sometimes literally.

Fuelled by the high of achieving this personal milestone, I decided to commit to my passion even more seriously and have compiled my best work into an album, and put them up on this website. And as I keep wielding my camera, focussing my lens on interesting subjects from around the world, I'll keep adding to it. I value experience over a degree and believe my canvasses speak louder than any piece of paper approving of my skills. A professional can't be forged in a classroom.

Today, with every project that I undertake, whether photography or content creation in general, I not only bring creativity to the table, but also the understanding of the brand, the target audience and the message it seeks to deliver.

So let’s collaborate and create great work, shall we?
